(1) Do election promises matter? YES, but ONLY if its a SPECIFIC promise to print a specific law-draft. Otherwise, all other promises are useless.
.
(2) And the SPECIFIC promise to print a SPECIFIC law-draft helps activists / voters --- because if elected MPs, who had promised to print that law-draft, refuse to print that law-draft after election, then Ahmisamurti Mahatma Udham Singh has MORAL right to act.
.
Say a party has made vague promises and its MPs get elected. Then if the MPs refuse to print the law-drafts to implement those vague promises, then neither citizens nor AMUS = Ahimsamurti Mahatma Udham Singh have any right to act.
.
Say a party has opposed some law-drafts before election and also during election campaign. (eg CoBhAp have opposed RTR etc drafts). and say over 45 crore voters have supported these law-drafts. But yet, in election, CoBhAp get majority. And after election CoBhAp-MPs refuse to print RTR-law-drafts,. Then despite support of 45 crore voters, AMUS has no moral right to act
.
But if some MP-candidates, say RRP-candidates , had promised to print RRG-drafts. Say they get elected. And now if they refuse to print RRG-drafts, then AMUS have moral right to act.
.
But again, if RRP-MPs had made vague promises, then AMUS has no moral right to act and so he may not act.
.
So I request activists to note
.
1. In absence of possibility = threat of action from AMUS , MPs will obey desi / videshi elitemen ONLY. Whether they are CoBhAp MPs or RRG MPs
.
2. But AMUS will act ONLY if (a) MP candidates have made specific promise to print specific law-drafts (b) There is a reason to believe that 45 crore voters support these law-drafts (c) These MP candidates do get elected. Then AMUS will almost certainly act. Otherwise, AMUS will NOT act.
