Dear Swamy Bhagats,

In 1997, ABV did the third best thing in history of Independent India - Pokharan2.

And in 1999, S Swamy was not only dislodged ABV Govt, he was trying to ensure that Congress comes into power and Sonia Gandhi becomes Prime Minister !!!

At one breakfast meeting, the deal seemed to have been done. “Vajpayee promised to make me finance minister,” Swamy says, “but after he got Jayalalithaa’s letter of support, he backtracked.” ..... A year later, he walked into Sonia Gandhi’s office and heard her tell him: “I believe you want to bring down this government, so do I.” Swamy hosted a famous tea party at a Delhi hotel, invited both Sonia and Jayalalithaa. That led to the AIADMK withdrawing support to Vajpayee’s government, which was voted out in April 1999.

It is sad that all these teenagers and even people in 20s dont know the events of 1974-1977 as well as 1996-1999. During both the periods, the respective PMs had done great things to improve Indian security and had angered USA. And During both periods, SS worked to bring down those PM.

Pls google on "Subramanian Swamy Jaylalitha" and you will see how SS forced JJ to withdrew support to ABV's govt. And then ask yourself "why he brought down ABV's govt"? And who, if not Sonia would have benefited from the fall?

It was a good thing that in 1999, Mulayam refused to support SoniaG and so SoniaG could not get majority and we had re-election. Otherwise, SS was all set to ensure that SG becomes PM.
