Why are SoMoKe supporting semi-legal tax exemptions to BCCI etc?

Money in actual cricket game on ground is only 1%. Some 99% is match fixing and tax "evasion". And tax evasion is semi-official !! BCCI and other cricket clubs clal themselves charitable organizations and refuse to pay taxes !!! And income tax dept has served notices , but taken no strong action till date. Pls google on "BCCI income tax". You will see that BCCI was OFFICIALLY tax exempt till 2008 ,

So we have quite a situation in India. Everyone has to pay taxes to fund Military , police and courts. And I support that --- everyone must be taxed at same rate. Even soldiers have to pay tax on their salaries, and I support that --- soldiers too should be taxed. But somehow, cricker bodies are kept tax exempt.

The reason why MPs ask income tax depts NOT to take strong action against BCCI is simple --- the cricket bodies give HUGE bribes to MPs in cash or in kind !!! Some MPs take cash. Some use cricket bodies to expand their political career. eg NaMo became chief of Gujarat Cricket Control Board to use its money to further expand his political career. And in return , the MPs ensure that income tax dept serves only paper notices and does timepass.

SoMoKe too want to use might of BCCI to promote their political careers and so support defacto semi-legal tax exemption status to BCCI.

"We should NOT be taxed" syndrome is so bad in cricketers, that in 2003, Sachin aka The God OFFICIALLY told the then PM ABV that Sachin aka The God does NOT want to pay customs duty on the Ferrari car he got as a gift !! ABV got scared ---- what if the God aka Sachin makes an anti-ABV or anti-BJP statement? That could have costed a few lakh to may be a crore votes less to BJP. So ABV got scared and ordered the then FinMin Jaswant Singh to give custom duty exemption to Sachin's Ferrari !!! Jaswant Singh ordered custom dept not to put any customs duty on Sachin's car. Later, PIL was filed against it. PIL failed as law allows Ministers to make special exemptions. Later , Sachin sold the car to a businessman in Gujarat.

SOLUTION?

Solution I propose is Right to Recall Chairman Direct Board of Taxation and RTR FinMin. Every citizen knows that nefarious tax breaks given to BCCI or The God aka Sachin only means more tax on his salary and income. So if Chairman CBDT or FinMin gives tax breaks to anyone, the citizens will promptly expel / imprison them. And so such tax breaks will end.

As per match fixing, I dont consider it as crime. So I propose no solution to match fixing except that cricket fans should be told that they are stupid if they want matches and no fixing. There is more money in fixing than playing and so match fixing is as natural as gravitational force. Everything in the world , except REAL WAR or a game where loser has to die or face total bankruptcy, will always be fixed. So give up cricket or get used to match fixing. No wise man will ever waste his time to reduce match fixing.
