"Oligarchy of the unmarried with no business" is a proven "failure" model in governance. Yet , this model is "working" in India , getting followers in India (eg RSS uses this model and RSS is making "progress") !! WHY?

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? is a Latin phrase meaning "Who will guard the guards?".

Since 10000 years , the key question in governance was NEVER how will those in position will keep citizens in discipline. The key question has always been --- how will citizens at large will keep those in position in discipline.
.
Those in position have plenty of tax money , staff , weapons and have benefit of doubt when they use force. So they will always work out ways to keep citizens in discipline. Thats is a TRIVIAL problem in Governance. The REAL problem is that how will citizens , who get no tax money, are busy with their own businesses, have less weapons, have no benefit of doubt will keep enforce discipline on those who are in position.

Over time, different societies world invented many models to enforce discipline on those in position. some of the means were
.
1. power by inheritance

2. power by discretion of oligarchy of married men with businesses
.
3. oligarchy of unmarried men, with no personal businesses !!! (eg Roman Catholics , Buddhism , many Hindu sects and RSS )

3. election , with no recall
.
4. election , with recall
.
5. Jury System .
.
6. Universal gathering aka Sabha --- all citizens in an area must gather at one place every week .

7. Recruitment by written exams --- pioneered by China by Confucius and later used by British in UK and across the world,

8. Moral eduation , national character ---- never worked , but this conept of "reduce indiscipline by moral education" still has crores of followers

and so forth,.

The idea behind "oligarchy of unmarried men with no busoiness" is that unmarried has no family , no business of his own, and so they will be less corrupt / nexused and so chances that they will misuse the powers will be less.

Greeks \ Romans never practiced this governance model. Neither did Muslims. In fact, in muslims, staying unmarried is a grave sin. Everyone including priest aka Maulvaies etc MUST marry !!

The model was first mastered by Buddhists. The Buddists were first to put down the rule that priests must remain unmarried and must not have any business of their own, except running the monastery.

The model was later mastered by Roman Catholics. The Roman Catholics Priests started this dogma that senior Priests must remain unmarried but junior preists were allowed to marry. Later, Pope issued eddicts that junior priests too must remain unmarried !!!

The idea came into Hindu sects around 300 AD .Till 300 AD , Hindu sects did not had concept of unmarried priests. eg most rishies in anscient scriptures are married. By 300 AD , many sects were having unmarried priests.

And today, RSS is practicing this model of governance.

The central thought is --- oligarcgy of unmarried men with no business will be better than all other methods of reducing indiscipline on those in position as well as citizens.

This model of governance aka "oligarchy of unmarried" , because "successful" in parts of world such as modern India, because there is no better procedures in those parts of world !! The parts of world such as USA which practice election with recall and Jury System are able to reduce indiscipline in their govt using Jury System and RTR. So they see no merit in argument that "lets promote group of unmarried" !!! But in India, the indiscipline in govt staff is more than rampant. And so hapless citizens see merits in hare-brained idea that "lets make unmarried men" incharge of govt or even their priesthood.

In absence of procedures like recall, Jury system, sabha etc , a group of 1000 unmarried men will be LESS INDISCIPLINED then a group of 1000 married men , because the unmarried will be less nexused and so will misuse their powers to a much lesser extent.

So "oligarchy of married men with no business" is surely less bad than "oligarchy of married men with business". Thats why RSS is gaining over Congress. And thats why Buddhism made inroads in many parts of world, because Buddhists monks were unmarried while minks in other sects were married. And Roman Catholics prevailed over other sects of Christianity which had married priests and Roman Catholics also prevailed over Pagans prevelent in Rome and Europe.

But "oligarchy of unmarried men with no business" is WORSE and MORE INEFFICIENT than gathering. Which is why, Roman Catholics m Buddhists and Hindu sects after 300 AD could reduce the rate at which Muslims were winning, but never had turn around. The turn around started ONLY after 1400 AD , which came because many parts of Europe started practicing Jury System and then elections. The Jury System came in 950 AD and then in 1200 AD in UK and started spreading. The Jury System enabled Europeans to make better weapons and defeat Arabs.Till Jury System came, Europeans were losing inch by inch and never winning. Thats because Arabrs used Sabha i.e. gathering to reduce indiscipline, , while Europeans practiced "Oligarchy of unmarried men with no business" to run their spiritual world and also some courts, and used "oligarchy of married men with business" to run politics and temporal = physical world.

China used recruitment by written exams at bottom / lower level, oligarchy of unmarried men to run temples and oligarchy of married men to run apex polity. It survived Arabs / Turks etc due to recruitment by written exams.

Now why is RSS gaining over Congress, Janata Dal, Shiv Sena and all parties?

Simple. Because RSS used the model of "oligarchy of unmarried men with no business" while Congress etc us model of "oligarchy of married men with business" !! So RSS outperforms Congress etc in delivering goods to voters and gives LESS INDISCIPLINED regime to voters.

But "oligarchy of unmarried men with no business" is far far LESS EFFICIENT than Jury System, Multi-elections, Right to Recall, referendum aka TCP , recruitment by written exams etc. So while RSS will surely manage to defeat Congress, JD , DMK etc, RSS, will fail to save India from USA or even China.

Solution is to inform activists that RSS's governance model aka "oligarchy of unmarried with no business" is good ONLY compared to "oligarchy of married men with business" that Congress , JD, DMK etc follow. RSS"s model is miserably weak compared to multi-elections, recall, Jury System , recruitment by witten exams, gathering.

And so solution is to print law-drafts like -- Jury System, Multi-elections, recall, referendum = TCP = gathering = sabha , recruitment by written exam etc. These law-drafts will bring us at par with USA , and above China, and enable us to survive. The mere "oligarchy of unmarried man with no business" can defeat only Congress , JD etc. It cant save us from USA \ China.
