1992 was 100th birthday of Mahatma Subhashchandra Bose. Due to intense pressure, Govt gave Bharat Ratna with a note of "posthumous" . It is legally correct in a narrow sense, because if a person's where-about are not known for 7 years, Govt can presume him as dead. Now out of moral concerns, relatives of Mahatma Subhash Chandra Bose asked Supreme Court to cancel "posthumous" nature of award.

The British hated Mahatma Subhash Chandra Bose, because due to his inspiration, Indian soldiers across India had revolted and British had to leave. So British started funding lobbies to cancel the award.

End result?

The Supreme Court judges cancelled the Bharat Ratna award given to Mahatma Subhash Chandra Bose by citing "posthumous" nature of award as pretext !! And paid reported it as demand of Mahatma Bose's family members !! Reality was that Mahatma Bose's relatives had only asked to change the nature of award from posthumous to normal (i.e. non-posthumous). Whereas Supreme Court judges, due to money from British, cancelled the award itself !!

Pls google more and you will find that this was the ONLY case when Bharat Ratna Award was cancelled after giving it.

Solution I propose :

I am not interested in just Bharat Ratna anymore. My demand is --- give title of "Father of Nation" to Mahatma Subhash Chandra Bose and withdraw the this title from Duratma Gandhi.
