On the event of Mar-23, shahid divas, I request all to make following following demands before Govt
1. Refer to Sachindranath Sanyal, Bhagat Singh etc as "Mahatma Sanyal", "Mahtma Bhagat Singh" etc
2. Remove stautues and pictures of Duratma Gandhi from ALL Govt plots and offices and also currency notes. All Govt documents and Govt subsidized books will NOT refer Mohanbhai as "Mahatma" but refer him as plain vanilla "Mohanbhai Gandhi". Remove title of Rastrapita from Duratma Gandhi, and the title should be given to Mahatma Subhash Chandra Bose.
3. And statues and pictures of Duratma Gandhi statues and pictures of REAL Mahatma, namely, Mahatma Sachuindranath Sanyal (Guru of Mahatma Bhagat Singh), Mahatma Subhas Chandra Bose, Mahatma Bhagat Singh etc etc
4. Give posthumus Bharat Ratna to Mahatma Sachindranath Sanyal, Mahatma Chandrashekhar Azad and Mahatma Bhagat Singh
====
Duratma Gandhi (whom many of you refer as Mahatma Gandhi) had called Mahatma Udham Singh as "intoxicated by bravery" and had condemned his act of executing Governor Dwyer as "act of insaninty" . Duratma Gandhi made this statement because he wanted coverage from British paid media such as Time of India, and Mohanbhai also wanted funding from Britishers's lackeys like Birla, Bajaj etc. Duratma Gandhi had also supported execution of Mahatma Bhagat Singh, because Mahatma Bhagat Singh was taking away all volunteers and thus killing his "business". And close colleague of Duratma Gandhi, Ghazi Jawaharlal bin Motilal bin Gyasuddin had informed British policemen about where-abouts of Mahatma Chandra Shekhar Azad, due to which policemen killed Mahatma Azad in encounter in Alfred Park (now known as Azad Park).
Yes, past is past. But then villians of past must not be worshipped. We mujst remove label of Rastrapita and Mahatma from Gandhi and give these labels to those who rightfully deserve.
=======
In a statement to the Press, Mahatama Gandhi condemned the Caxton Hall shooting saying that "the outrage has caused me deep pain. I regard it as an act of insanity...I hope this will not be allowed to affect political judgement" [22]. A week later, Harijan, his newspaper further wrote: "We had our differences with Michael O'Dwyer but that should not prevent us from being grieved over his assassination. We have our grievances against Lord Zetland. We must fight his reactionary policies, but there should be no malice or vindictiveness in our resistance. The accused is intoxicated with the thought of bravery" [23].
