OR, in general, all along dear RTR-activists (sometimes including myself) used to worry --- are we recallists ever going to create an impact in media and masses, given that we dont have any corporate sponsorship (like Team Anna) in media?

And my answer was : when a true-activist (i.e. non-80G-activists) hears about RTR, he will like it right away, but remain skeptic because signature based RTR-procedures are too expensive and fraud-prone. But moment he comes to know about appearance based RTR-procedures, he will support RTR and the RTR procedure, and will also pass information. And as number of non-80G-activists who support RTR increases, activists leaders as well as mediamen will be forced or tempted to at least focus on RTR !!

Just see how psuedo-recallists Santosh Hegde is now supporting RTR. Why now? Why didnt he support RTR for so many years and decades of his life? And even now, he says "he is ready to write draft on RTR" which means all life till now, he could not get even few hours needed to write RTR-draft . And please read his speech -- he wants RTR on elected representatives, which means he is opposing RTR on judges, PM , CM, Police Chief etc. And even when he says "elected representatives", he does not explicitly mention MPs and MLAs, which means he may close the matter with just corporators and sarpanch.

So it is clear that Santosh Hegde does not like RTR. In fact, he hated it. Then why is Santosh Hegde supporting RTR? Because he can sense that if he doesnt, he would lose support of non-80G-activists. IOW, directly or indirectly, it is non-80G-activists who are forcing Santosh Hegde to support RTR.

Same way, for a looooong tome Chauthi Duniya refused to cover RTR, despite many RTR activists calling his owner again and again. How same Chauthi Duniya is hotsing two websites on RTR !!

Well, today Chauthi Duniya,. In few weeks from now, even ToI will be forced to support RTR. Today Santosh Hedge, tomorrow even PM will be forced to support RTR.
