Instead of labeling voters as Congress-vote-bank , BJP-vote-bank, AAP-vote-bank, IMO, we should label them as paid-ToI-vote-bank , paid-HT-vote-bank , paid-NDTV-vote-bank etc etc.

i.e. these voters are faithful to the paid-newspaper or paid-channels they follow, and they will vote for whichever party / leader that that paid-newspaper or paid-TV-channel shows !!!

Its like some movie-goers are faithful to their hero, while some are faithful to some director. eg some will watch any movie from some hero like RhriRo , SalKh, AmKh. SRK etc. While some will see any movie that comes from director like Satyajit Ray , Manmohan Desai etc etc ..

I would say that more and more voters are now "vote bank" of NOT some leader or party, but some paid-newspaper and paid-TV-channels. Just look at Anna ---- once he was "who Anna", and then he became "The Anna" and now he "Where is Anna?". All was paidmedia show and nothing else. No activists was in reality "loyal" to Anna, they were loyal only to some paid-TV-channel. That paid-TV-channel showed Anna, and the activists became loyal to Anna. Now that TV-channel showed ArKe, and activist is loyal to ArKe !!!

Instead of names of parties and candidates, its time we write name of TV-channels on ballot papers !!
