On facebook, pls divide all your fbfriends into LISTS , and when you put status posts, please select which FRIEND LIST should see that specific status post.

Or else, all your fbfriends will see all your posts and so your fbfriends will simply unfollow you to keep their newsfeed relevent and clean, and save their time.

So when you make important post which you want ALL to see, that post will have less audience.

eg I saw a status post from one fbfriend of mine, who is NOT a close real life friend, " had a great breakfast at .... ". Now if that post was from my reallife friend, I would have liked-commented-ignored it. But since it was from a non-real-life fbfriend, I clicked "unfollow" that person , because I dont want my newsfeed to get cluttered from non-political non-serious posts from non-real-life fbfriend !! So next time, when that person posts a serious political post, fb will NOT show it to me. It is my loss, and also his loss.

Instead, if that person had made friend lists such as "real life close friends" , "real life not close friends" , "political colleagues" etc etc and shown that "had great breakfast" status ONLY to "real life close friends" , then I would not have seen that status, and I would NOT have unfollowed him !!

So please classify your fbfriends into friend lists , and please dont make all non-serious posts public . Or else, more and more will only unfollow you.
