On the occassion of Mahashivratri , Kashi's MP chooses to NOT to be in Kashi , but attend event to honor the sainthood given by Vatican to two preists !!!

Sainthood is given by Vatican to those priests who have served mankind (read --- done conversion) , and also have performed Miracle Cures !!! And whether the cure was miracle or id decided by committee of Cardinals appointed by Pope. And committee of Cardinal reviews after 500 certified doctors appointed by Cardinals (tee hee hee) examine the whole case and certify that cure was not possible by medical technology and so must have been a miracle. And then several certified theologicians are appointed to certify that cure was indeed a Miracle Cure. And after that, Vatican gives Sainthood.

The Miracle Cure is a concept used by MOST religions to attract and retain followers.

All that is good and dandy. I dont oppose this per se --- religious freedom should be for all. My myself believe in God 3 days a week, and believe in Miracles on every 29-feb !!!

Now consider MP from Kashi aka Varanasi aka NaMo himself. Given that PM has 100 tasks at hand, I can understand that he cant attend Mahashivratri event in Kashi. There is NO issue about that. But then, he does find time to attend the event to honor sainthood offered by vatican to two Kerala saints !!!

I am NOT a Hinduvaadi. I am secular (and feel free to call me p-sec). But this secularism shown by MP of Kashi is too much for me.

Rest, I leave the whole matter to Hinduvaadies. After all, they are the ones who say that "NaMo is Hinduvaadi"
