1. Should movie-makers be allowed to charge different ticket rate from different theatres?
.
The medicine manufactures and most manufacturers are NOT allowed to charge different rates from different buyers. They can offer quantity discounts , but cant have structure that "medicine in delhi will be sold at Rs 200 and same medicine in ahmedabad will be sold at Rs 100 !!". . So should movie makers be required to take same price from all theateres?
.
my proposal : movie manufacturer must be required to collect same price from all theaters. He may decrease the price of the movie after a few days (eg he can ask for Rs 200 on first day and decrease / increase price later). But his all India price should be same across India.

2. Can a movie maker be allowed to block viewing of its movies in a PARTICULAR cinema?
.
FMCG makers and medicine makers, and most manufacturers cannot stop shop from selling their product. eg a soap maker cannot say that "xyz shop cant sell my product" unless it confines to its own outlets. So should movie makers be required to allow any theater owner who pays its designated price to show the movie?
.
My proposal : movie makers should NOT be allowed to stop a theatre from showing the movie as long as theater is paying the rate movie manufacturer is asking (and movie manufactuer must ask same rate from all theaters).

These laws are important to break the neck of movie industry which has been running amok and reckless.
