How absence of water metering , promoting meat export and meat production, and promoting wheat / rice over jowar / bajara is fueled Khalistani crisis in 1970 - 1990 and even now it is creating epic problems in Punjab, Gujarat etc

India is water shortage country as 90% of rain comes in 15 days and gets flown to ocean (unlike USA, which has 100s of 12 month rivers because ice in north melts sllowly round the year)..

Despite this, all leaders of congress , Jansangh (now BJP), CPM, AAP etc have opposed universal water metering, promote meat export, promote meat production and promote wheat/rice over jowar/ bajara !! One kg of meat needs 50 to 100 times more water than 1 kg jowar / bajara. And 1 kg of wheat needs 3 times and 1 kg of rice needs some 8 times the water that 1 kg of jowar / bajra needs. And this has increase water wastage as well as water needs.

Due to these policies, water consumption / waste across India increased since 1950s, And so all states, Punjab included, started facing deficit !! Now Punjab and haryana were once one state and became two states in 1956. And so agreement was made that Haryara will get 40% share over Punjab waters.

So as water "shortage" worsened, some guys in Punjab thought --- lets separate from India !! Because if Punjab separates from India, then water agreement between Punjab and Haryana becomes void, and only international riparian law will apply. And as per international riparuian law, a country can demand water over a river ONLY if teh river physically flows thru it. So if Punjab were to become a separate country, then Punjab will own all waters flowing thru it. And US / UK paid huge money to a section of Akalies to add more fuel to this crisis. To make matter worse, Devi Indira Amma refused to use Jury System to resolve violent attacks and decided to use raw police force. The corruption in police resulted in harassment to many non-violent and in turn they became violent. So there were many factors other than water. But water a primary ECONOMIC reason which made Khalistani movement so agressive. And reason was not water per se --- but absence of water metering !!!

The activists should note that even today, SoMoKe \ CoBhAp-leaders are opposing universal water metering, promoting meat export, meat production and promote wheat / rice over jowar / bajra. Only we at Right to recall Group are promoting universal water metering, ban meat export, discourage meat production using FAIR water prices and not via punishment, and promote jowar / bajra over wheat / rice. So I request activists NOT to waste time on SoMoKe / CoBhAp and instead work with Right to recall Group activists.
