How we at Right to recall Group are FORCING paidmediamen to pay attention to Right to Recall , and how can we stop things from mis-firing.

paid-Navgujarat-Samay is now no.3, top selling Gujarati newspaper in Ahmedabad. It is part of paid-Times-of-India-group. The newspaper-owners and reporters etc are all HIGHLY anti-RTR !! .

But against all odds,, paid-Navgujarat-Samay was FORCED to write following, on the topic of compulsory voting

ફરજિયાત મતદાન કરાવીને સરકાર મતદારોની સ્વૈચ્છિક અભિવ્યક્તિનો અધિકાર તેની તરફેણમાં કરાવતી હોય ત્યારે ચૂંટાયેલા પ્રતિનિધિઓ જો યોગ્ય રીતે કામગીરી ન બજાવે તો તેમને પરત ઘેર બેસાડવા માટે રાઇટ ટુ રિકોલ પણ મતદારોને આપવાનો અવાજ ઉઠી રહ્યો છે. હવેના મતદારો કે પ્રજા ૧૯૯૦ના દાયકાના નથી કે પ્રતિનિધિઓ પોતાને વિશેષ માનતા હોય અને તેમને સ્વીકારી લેવાય. જો કોર્પોરેટરોને મત જોઇતા હોય તો ચૂંટાયા પછી તેમનું પરફોર્મન્સ યોગ્ય ન હોય તો તેમને ડિસ્ક્વોલિફાય કરવા રાઇટ ટુ રિકોલના હક માટે પણ સરકારે નવા નિયમોમાં જોગવાઇ કરવી જોઇએ. If Govt wants compulsory votiing, then if elected candidates dot work properly, then the voice that citizens should also have Right to Recall is also rising . Voters today are not same as voters of 1990s. ... If corporator's performance is poor, then Right to recall provision should be made by Govt "

paid-Navgujarat-Samay is anti-RTR , like all apex-paidmediamen. Then how come this argument made way?
.
Following is that timeline.
.
1. In 14-jun-2015 , Gujarat Govt starts drama on compulsory voting !! The news come on 15-jun-2015
.
2. Gujarati news-channel G news called BJP / Congress leaders to talk about it --- they refuse !!! (Because BJP in Gujarat want compulsory voting and BJP is opposing compulsory voting in Karnataka !! And in Karnataka , Congress wants complusory voting and BJP is opposing compulsory voting !!! So no BJP-Congress leader wants to get into cross-fire.

3. So they called me. This is common --- when they cant find any congress-bjp-aap leader to talk on an issue, they call me !!!

4. On TV-channel , I explained why Right to Recall is far far more important than gimmicks like compulsory voting.

5. So lakhs of viewers of G-news got this information, that RTR is far far more important than compulsory voting

Now paid-Navgujarat-Samay samay has to keep a respectable face before reader. When paid-Navgujarat-Samay saw that many of its readers KNEW about RTR, it had two choices
.
1. ignore RTR and lose reputation before those readers who know about RTR
.
2. speak about RTR !!
.
And this forced paid-Navgujarat-Samay to write about RTR against its wish
.
So as we inform more and more voters about RTR , all paid-mediamen, and even paid-activist-leaders like Mahatma Arvind Gandhi will be FORCED to speak about RTR. And if we spread information further, then we can FORCE even SoGa / NaMo to speak on RTR against their wish.

Now , all this can go in vain --- if SoMoKe etc manage to bring a POOR RTR-draft or project RTR as noisy proposal !!

And solution to that is to spread information on GOOD RTR-drafts.
.
IMO, if lakhs of activists know about "good" RTR-DRAFTS (DRAFTS) then SoMoKe will fail to misguide activists.

So slowly, our RTR-campaign and draft-based activism is yeliding results.
