Why my meeting senior leaders will have zero or negative impact?

On my video on "why Transaction tax is nonsense, and wealth tax is best option" (see http://www.youtube.com/watch…) , a viewer commented with good faith as

“ Rahul sir: pls meet Swami Ramdevji asap bcz he is promoting arthkranti & also once said that in his next andolan on black money, he also force govt to implement transaction tax. So i hope u don't make it late otherwise a disaster will happen.”

My answer is : I need to speak to as many activists as possible, but my meeting senior leaders will now have zero or negative impact. And what can now save situation is --- BST workers should decide to understand “transaction tax vs wealth tax” issue and take their opinions to Swamiji. And if BST workers refuse to understand this issue, and refuse to take the matter to Swamiji, then nothing can save us from the situation. I have explained all these things here.

First, I request all recallists to note that my size not that large that it make any impact on any senior leader. Size of a person depends on number of followers, how paid-media project him, time he spends and issues he takes. Swami Ramdevji has followers due to his monumental work in health, yoga etc. I have not done any work in any field except “proposed-law-drafting”, for whatever it is worth. The Anna , The Chhote Anne and Subramanian Swami have followers because MNC-owners and Missionaries paid mediamen to create their hero-like images and paid-judges increased Subramanian Swamy’s size by entertaining his PILs and ignoring others’ PILs. Now we all that paid-mediamen hate RTR and so paid-mediamen projecting me is out of questions. Now did I spend time in drafting and publicizing RTR-draft, TCP-draft, wealth-tax-draft etc and I have taken issues which other activist-leaders like The Anna or The Chhote Anne or Subramanian Swamy are scared of touching (like RTR, wealth tax etc), so I am somewhat well-known. And number of "my followers" are zero --- those who like my RTR drafts have rightly followed RTR-drafts and rightly not followed me. So all in all, my size is not large.

Now I am going to contest dec-2012 Gujarat Assembly election and also may-2014 Parliamentary election to publicize RTR , Jury, Wealth tax , TCP and 10s of these matters. And Swamiji has no option but to support NaMo (there will be split in BJP, with NaMo heading smaller faction which may very likely win 300 seats across India).

Because of my decision to contest elections, my meeting senior leaders will not have much impact or may have negative impact.

Eg Consider my meeting Swami Ramdevji. First, people around him may manage to ensure that I and Swamiji cant even meet each other. And even if I were to meet Swamiji, people around Swamiji, such as Subramanian Swamy, The Anna, Ram Jethmalani etc will tell that "ideas of wealth tax, RTR etc are to benefit Congress etc and Rahul Mehta is a Congress agent etc and Rahul Mehta has come to divide votes and Rahul Mehta has come to take away activists etc etc" . And BST-workers will keep silence and so Swamiji will end up tilting towards Subramanian Swami, Ram Jethmalani, The Anna etc. So finally, my meeting wont be much effect.

(Aside : Now due to death of Dixitjee, there has been a vacuum, and so people such as The Anna or The Chhote Anne or Subramanian Swamy have managed to surround Swamiji. They are all opposed to RTR, TCP, wealth-tax etc because the MNC-owners and Missionaries who are sponsoring them in media are all opposed to RTR, TCP, wealth tax etc. So they will also oppose wealth tax and also label me as a Congress agent)

So what will have effect on Swamiji?

The ONLY thing that will effect Swamiji's decision will be number of BST activists taking interest in "transaction tax vs wealth tax" issue , RTR issue, and then number of activists who will put their views before Swamiji.

But if the BST-activists insist on not studying this issue and not putting their views before Swamiji, then transaction-tax people will win, and there is nothing I can do about it.

Summarizing, given that I am contesting elections, the advisors of senior leaders will have easy way saying that “Rahul Mehta is Congress agent, RM just wants to divide the votes” etc and wash away whatever I say. So if you guys want things to improve, then pls contact all BST members and all other activists, and request them to speak to Swamiji and their respective leaders, about “transaction tax vs wealth tax” issue, RTR issues and other issues. My meeting senior leaders will not have much impact now.
