A doctor after examining all reports told the patient "you only need exercises and need no medicines". But the patient insisted "see doctor sir, I dont have time for exercises ; so can you just give me some tablets"? At this point --- a doctor has to decide whether he wants to confine to ethics or cater his "business". An honest doctor will insist on zero tablets and insist on doing exercises. While a "practical" doctor will give medicine to the patient..
.
Same way, to improve the lives of Indians, it is necessary that activists and citizens spend TIME to understand law-drafts of USA / India , read proposed law-drafts and then send orders to MPs / MLAs via SMS to print the proposed law-drafts they like. One line solutions like "worship SoGa" , "worship NaMo" or "worship Arvind Gandhi" are tablets that do no good.
.
Now in case a voter says "I dont have time to analyse law-drafts , I dont have time to understand proposed law-drafts and I dont have time to send SMSs", then IMO an activist has two option. He can re-insist that it is must to understand law-drafts, or he can resort to one like golies i.e. tablets like "worship SoGa" , "worship NaMo" or "worship Arvind Gandhi".
.
We at Right to Recall Group simply refuse to give such one liners aka tablets aka golies to citizens and fellow activists. It is necessary that activists, and also citizens, increase information on law-drafts and increase SKILLS to analyze law-drafts , and develop SKILLS to read the invisible lines in a law-drafts. If activist or citizens think that our law-drafts are useless, then he is welcome to read others' law-drafts (except that NO OTHER political group has ever proposed law-drafts to reduce the mess in India, and make India at par with USA).
.
Even noticing "invisible" problems requires time, and not one-lines. eg consider falling standards of Municipal schools. An upper middle classmen may say "why worry , my kids are going to private schools, and so why bother about falling standards of municipal schools". Well, he an activist should take time to explain that if municipal schools dont improve, then poor will have no option but to send his kids to Missionaries , who will later feed them venon against Hinduism, upper castes and also prompt him towards conversion and secession". And so it is necessary to print law-drafts to improve municipal schools. One need to spend time in explaining invisible problems, and also law-drafts that reduce visible and invisible problems.
.
However, many activists resort to giving one line tablets like "worship SoGa" , "worship NaMo" or "worship Arvind Gandhi" or worse "worship FDI" , by citing excuses that "see voters dont have time" !!! Well, they are dishonest activists, and nothing more.
..
All in all, consider a patient who needs exercises and NOT medicines. A good doctor will ask him to do exercises and refuse to give medicine. Only a wrong doctor will give medicines. Same way, a good activist will repeatedly request other activists and voters to focus on law-drafts of India, law-drafts of USA and proposed law-drafts to fix India. Only a bad activist will resort to "tablets" i.e. one liners like "worship SoGa" , "worship NaMo" , "worship Arvind Gandhi" or "worship FDI".
.
Whether you wish to become good activist or bad activist is your choice. But lack of time isnt an excuse.
