If a person is silent, he is NOT a friend. He is silent because he is getting benefits from enemies or he wants to get benefits from enemies. He is only pretending as a friend. He should be shunned as soon as possible. If one considers a silent person as friend, it is one's stupidity and nothing more. And a world full of aggressors, stupidity can be fatal.
As an example, I come across a large number of activist-leaders who are very vocal about corruption in Ministers, IAS, IPS etc. But same activist-leaders insists on silence on corruption\nepotism in judges. They are silent because they want benefits from judges and\or their relative lawyers. They are enemies of people, not friends of people. If an activists wants to serve people, he should shun such activist-leaders ASAP.
