Team Anna meeting in Ahmedabad on 29-jun-2012 : ask why Team Anna is opposing Right to Recall Janlokpal

Team Anna members are coming to Ahmedabad on jun-29-2012 today. A press conference is to be held at Adarsh Ahmedabad Hall . To reach this hall, reach Vijay 4 Rasta and from Vijay 6 Rasta, drive towards Commerce 6 Rasta, and the Adarsh Ahmedabad Hall will come on your left before Commerce 6 Rasta. Time = 12 noon to 2 pm

I told the meeting organizers that I will ask Team Anna on why they are opposing Right to Recall Janlokpal, and record their views and put them on YouTube. The organizer, who is also a member of so called Core Team, that Team Anna’s schedule is tight and so they cannot spare 10 minutes for giving their statements on Right to Recall Janlokpal issue. And when many local IAC activists said that they too want to know Team Anna’s views on RTR-Janlokpal, the organizers decided not to allow any activists, including their own in the meeting, and decided to allow only the press reporters !! So if you wish to pose any question such as Right to Recall Janlokpal, you can do so only via a press reporter.

So I request all press reporters interested in Right to Recall Janlokpal to reach the place and ask Team Anna why is he opposing the proposal to add Right to Recall Janlokpal clauses in the Janlokpal draft. Why does he insist that citizens must NOT have any procedures to expel Janlokpal without approaching time-wasting and corrupt Supreme Court judges?

In existing Janlokpal draft, if the Janlokpal becomes MNC-agent or Missionary agent, then citizens cannot expel him directly, even if crores of citizens have agreed on a replacement. As per the existing Janlokpal draft, the citizens must first approach Supreme Court judges. And we all know that the Supreme Court judges are most unapproachable persons, big time wasters and they are more corrupt than Ministers. Consider open and shut case like Kasab. Despite video evidences, witnesses and 100 dead bodies, the Supreme Court judges wasted away over 1 year. In case like Janlokpal taking covert bribes, the Supreme Court judges may take 10 years to decide.

If the Right to Recall Janlokpal clauses are added to the Janlokpal draft, then majority citizen-voters will be able to replace Janlokpal using a transparent procedure, without having to approach corrupt Supreme Court judges and waste time. (see http://rahulmehta.com/lokpal2.pdf )

The question of Right to Recall Janlokpal is crucial. The MNC-owners and Missionaries are giving crores of rupees to TV channels to promote Janlokpal and Team Anna . Because once Janlokpal comes, the 11 Janlokpals can suspend, arrest and imprison anyone (till he gets bail). So this way, Missionaries and MNC-owners will need to bribe only 11 Janlokpals and thru them, they can control 20000 officers, MLAs, MPs, Ministers etc across India. That’s why MNC-owners and Missionaries are giving crores of rupees to TV-channels to promote Janlokpal and Team Anna.

The Right to Recall Janlokpal changes the game of MNC\Missionaries. The RTR-Janlokpal will make Janlokpal dependent on citizens and he can no longer work for MNC\Missionary agent.

So if Team Anna supports Right to Recall Janlokpal, then MNC-owners and Missionaries will lose big time, and so they will stop paying crores of rupees to Is that the reason why Team Anna is opposing Right to Recall Janlokpal?
