Many citizens become activist because they claim and think that many leaders are damaging the nation, cheating the citizens etc etc. They will ask followers of that cheater leader to unfollow him. Next, they say that I alone wont be able to serve the country and so I should also start following a leader. Very well so far, but then in few days, they start justifying and rationalizing the lies his leaders throw.

Well, I am facing several such activists. One of them has become follower of Subramanian Swamy. So I asked him to expose the lie that Subramanian Swamy is telling public that "1977 Janata Party Manifesto did not have promise for Right to Recall". This crucial to me. Because for past 10 years, I have been telling all that Janata Party manifesto of 1977 had promise to implement Right to Recall MLA, Right to Recall MP, Right to Recall PM and Right to Recall Supreme Court judges. And Subramanian Swamy is now telling all that Janata Party Manifesto of 1977 did not have even Right to Recall MLA promise. One of is a liar, and I need to prove that he is a liar to prove that I am not. In general, people have tendency to accept big guy over small guy. Of course, a small fact goes against S Swamy --- he is constantly refusing to post 1977 Janata Party Manifesto on his website !! So in any case, after intense googling, this what I found (see see page "6 ASIA" or search for word "recall" --http://www.larouchepub.com/…/eirv04n…/eirv04n09-19770229.pdf . The point-8 of political reforms says --- (8) introduce electoral reforms after a careful consideration of suggestions made by various committees, including the Tarkunde Committee and, in particular, consider proposals for recall of errant legislators and for reducing election costs as well as the voting age from 21 to 18

So when I show this link to Swamy's followers, they rationalize Swami's lies by several means.

This is what finally "follow the leader" becomes. You oppose lies of others' leaders and rationalize lies your leaders throws around. All in the name of greater good.
