Many univ passouts who want top corporate positions in fortune-100 companies, do NOT join fortune-100 company and instead they form some startup. Their track is --- the startup will cut business of some fortune-100 company, which will force fortune-100 company to acquire the startup and that will get them HIGHER statke in the fortune-100 company.

The reason why ArKe / KiBe formed the political startup called "Indian Against Corruption" was same. Both had goal of reaching high position, but instead of directly joining Congress or BJP , they formed a startup. The startup created competition for BJP / Congress etc. And this forced BJP to acquire some of it , such as KiBe.

Had KiBe / ArKe joined Congress or BJP in apr-2011, none would NOT have got CM position. But now that they have created a market for themselves, and BJP needs to acquire that marklet, and so is willing to offer lot more than what they would have offered in apr-2011.

The major difference between start up companies and political startups is that in company business , they dont pretend. They keep takeover -merger -acquitition plan from day one. Whereas in political startup, they all start with drama that "elections are bad, we will never contest elections, all parties are corrupt ; bjp/congress are bad ; we will never join bjp/congress " etc etc. The people who form startups dont make fool of their employees into believing that they are saving the world or saving the country or have some noble causes. Whereas people who start political start with lofty ideals and carry pictures of shahids and do a lot of drama.

So all anti-corruption hoopla, Janlokpal drama etc etc was only because BJP would NOT have give CM position in 2011. And now, BJP may even offer PM position to KiBe in 2019 !!!
