TCP is 4th (not 3rd) greated invention in history of mankind
.
I have claimed in my book (see chap-1 of http://rahulmehta.com/301.htm ) that TCP is 3rd biggest invention in history of mankind. Well, I think I should call it 4th. The first is wheel, second is Jury System , third is zero and 4th is TCP.

Jury System isnt trivial. In those days, all punishments were decided by
.
1) either sabha (gathering of all citizens) OR
.
2) raja (kings , , one chosen powerful individual)
.
3) samiti (committee , handful of appointed or elected individuals with term)
.
And people in Greece came up with new idea --- that punishment will be decided by 50-1500 citizens chosen at random from sabha , and each Jury will attend one case and only one case !!!

This system first came in Greece in 800 BC to 600 BC .
.
This is NOT a trivial innovation.

So IMO, we should give Jury System a place in Greatest innovation mankind made, along with "0" and wheel., (and of course TCP)
