It was by BJP Asam apex leader named Pradut Vora on Asam problem. He spoke for about 2 hours followed by 30 minutes of QA. In 2 hours , he gave 10s of details on situation as it, and how British created the problem and how Congress worsened it, and how bad the problem is today etc etc. Then he said solution - expel Bangladeshies !! As if Bangladeshies have "I am Bangladeshi" on his forehead and none would lie !! He gave NO procedure to establish/prove if an accused is Bangladeshi Muslim or Indian Bengali Muslim.
When asked why BJP didnt implement any law in 1998-2004, he said "BJP got busy with US saction after Pokharan-2, Kargil war and securing Western border , and so eastern border could not be fenced !!!" As if whole Govt was doing nothing but focusing on Western border !!
Finally, when I asked him following question "Say I am or you are district collector and 500 men are placed in front of us , and accused of being Bangladeshi. Then what procedure code I or you or that collector would follow? And has BJP proposed any legislation in Assembly or Parliament to enact that procedure as law"? He said that using National Population Register of 1951 it can be done !!! How? A person will be asked to show his father's or grandfather's name in NPR-1951 !! And he will be asked to give document linking him with that name in NPR-1951 !! I asked if BJP has submitted such draft in Parliament, and he skipped the question.
Now say I am Bangladeshi, and my age is 50 years. Say my name is Karim. Say my father's name is Salim and he has passed away, and I have document to show that my father's name was Salim. Then all I need to do is find one Salim in NPR-1951 and bingo , I am Indian citizen !!
And say I am Bangladeshi, and my age is 25 years. Say my name is Karim. Say my father's name is Salim, who could be alive in Bangladesh. But I claim that he has passed away, and claim that my Salim's father's name was Aslam, and I show one Aslam in NPR-1951 and bingo , I am Indian citizen too !!
All in all, all I need to do is to pick an entry in NPR-1951, whose name is same as name of father or grandfather !!

I asked Mr. Vora to put detailed procedure code to determine who is Bangladeshi and who is not his website. I am sure he will never put it. But I request all to ask him, so that YOU all too get convinced that BJP is just timepass on Bangladeshi issue.

Once you are done with all these timepass leaders, you will realize that ONLY way left is that YOU yourself. You have NO option but to study the law-draft yourself and publicize it via newspaper-ad, pamphlets and contesting election. If you keep waiting for good leaders to come, it will be nothing but timepass. And as timepass goes on, more Bangladeshies will keep coming.
