How British via Birla\Sarabhai via Duratma Gandhi made Jawaharlal Ghazi PM of India : British were providing factory spare-parts to Birla etc and thus they could force Jawaharlal on us
In around 1947, Congress State delegates met and voted on who should be PM. Out of some 50 delegates, all except 2-3 voted for Vallabhbhai Patel and they opposed Jawaharlal Ghazi, because they considered JG as misfit even for peon's position. But Duratma Gandhi "forced" Vallabhbhai Patel to withdraw his name and propose Jawaharlal Ghazi's name. Why? What made Duratma Gandhi support Jawaharlal Ghazi. And why did Vallabhbhai Patel cowed in?
It was British. How did they manage this? The British wanted Jawaharlal Ghazi to become PM. But how could could they force their decision on Congress, Duratma Gandhi and Vallabhbhai Patel ?

The British were providing all spare parts to Birla, Tata, Sarabhai, Bajaj. The British threatened these industrialists that supply line will be cut unless they ensure that Jawaharlal Ghazi becomes PM. So these businessmen asked Duratma Gandhi to lobby for Jawaharlal Ghazi. Now Duratma Gandhi's ashrams were running on money from Birla, Tata, Sarabhai, Bajaj. In fact, Duratma Gandhi has zero administrative\legal power on the trusts he was supposedly running. All cheque signing powers were with henchmen appointed by Birla, Tata, Sarabhai, Bajaj. Duratma was just an actor placed on front to fool Indian people and Congress activists. So when businessmen ask Duratma Gandhi to lobby for Jawaharlal Ghazi, Duratma Gandhi had no option but to lobby for Jawaharlal Ghazi. If he had not, funding to Ashram would have stopped. And all karyakarta including Manu and Abhaa would have left. Duratma Gandhi would have been left with Satya, Ahimsa and Charkhaa only.
When Duratma Gandhi support JG, Vallabhbhai too saw that if he doesnt cow in, then Duratma Gandhi would do same with him what Duratma Gandhi did with Rashtrapita Mahatma Subhashchandra Bose in late 1930s. Duratma Gandhi will project Vallabhbhai as villain. And the paid-mediamen would also universally project him as villain. And that can mean demise of his political career. And so he had to accept the diktat of Duratma Gandhi.
And thus, worst Congress leader became first PM of India.
Now if British had not provided spar-parts to Birla etc, then Birla etc would have lost, not India. India would have suffered temporary jolt, but then people would have learnt to manufacture machines. But prosperity of Birla et al would have diminished

Consider a similar story in China. China's industry officers in 1950 asked Chairman Mao not to support Vietnam against France, because China used a large number of made in France machines. So Chairman Mao ordered that all French machines to be burnt in 2 weeks !!! China suffered temporary loss, but soon learned how to make machines.

How is today these stories important?

First, centralized decision-making in organization in bad for country. Because this makes it easy for videshi to control India --- he had to force only a few persons at top. This is what happened in IAC. All decision making power was with Team Anna. Congress and Ford Foundation bribed them with super-publicity and MP-ship in 2014, and whole movement fell apart.
Second, never depend on paid-media and never depend on person who depends on paid-media. Duratma Gandhi had to obey Birla etc because Duratma Gandhi depended on paid-media-coverage provided by paid-Times of India, paid-Hindustan Samachar etc. And so he had to sell out. IAC workers should note that their leader Arvind Gandhi etc are getting interviews in Headlines Today, paid-NDTV, paid-SaharaTV etc. Who is paying these channels to show Arvind Gandhi as hero? And what will be the consequences of that? Consequence will be : when these channel-sponsors ask Arvind Gandhi to support pro-MNC-laws like Lokpal with no RTR-Lokpal, Arvind Gandhi will have no option but to support such laws.
And finally - Swadeshi. If country depends on forigners for critical parts, then foreigners can easily force bad people at key positions as well as wrong laws. So pls promote laws that promote local manufacturing, and oppose anti-Swadeshi leaders like Arvind Gandhi.
