NaMo's new Juvenilce Justice Act is a FARCE / DRAMA --- the juvenile who commits heinous crimes will be tried as adult ONLY if Juvenile Board and Child Welfare Committtee says that juvenile should be tried as adult. .

If these committee members , after or without taking bribes, decide to try the juvenile who committed heinous crime as juvenile, then the accused will be tried as juvenile IRRESPECTIVE of nature or crimes he committed !!!

An who appoints members in Juvenile Board and Child Welfare Committee ? The head of Juvenile Board is a sessions court judge appointed by High Court Chief judge. And all remaining members are appointed by CM.

Suffices to say that most are corrupt to core.
.
Now when a juvenile between 16-18 years commits a "non heinous" crime, like molestation (the act INDIRECTLY defines molestation as non heinous !!! ) , he will be tried as juvenile.
.
And if he commits heinous crime, then he will NOT be automatically tried as adult, The two boards' members will decide if he should be tried as adult or not.

So ONLY in cases where there is wide outrage on social media, the accused will be tried as adult,
.
In ALL other cases, most members of Juvenile Board and Child Welfare Committee will sell out and try the accused as juvenile ONLY.

IOW, NaMo's amendment to Juvenile Justice Act is a FARCE and a sick DRAMA .

"Juvenile Justice Boards (JJB) and Child Welfare Committees (CWC) will be constituted in each district. The JJB will conduct a preliminary inquiry to determine whether a juvenile offender is to be sent for rehabilitation or be tried as an adult. The CWC will determine institutional care for children in need of care and protection."

Solution I propose is that activists should work to convince 45 crore voters or more to send orders to MPs via SMS that in ALL cases of Juvenile crimes, the JURORS should decide if the accused be tried as juvenile or adult.
