Folks,

A really important secret news, that you will hear soon. You all must have heard that several sons and daughters of Ministers are going to get MLA tickets in Gujarat elections. Well, be ready for surprises. NaMo is giving tix to highly educated engineers, doctors, scientists, educated businessmen, builders (and being a builder is not bad), CA, retired IAS, retired IPS etc. He is chopping off over half the existing BJP MLAs --- some 70 out of 130 will be dropped. Ministers' kids will NOT get tickets --- even biggies Ministers' kids wont get MLA ticket. In fact, 3 Ministers will be kicked out.

All of these new comers are first generation rich --- their fathers were almost all middle class men. None will have criminal record or any record of land grabbing or subsidy grabbing. The newcomers are well off, and some rich, but those who made riches by some genuine industry (and of course some ghotala is always there in business). But they are seen as (and are) wealth creators and no scamsters.

Of course, all caste equations will be maintained. But the candidates who are being selected are not casteist themselves. Most of them are in business, industry etc and have partners across caste.

This is a good step by itself. NaMo will surely reap HUGE benefits from this candidate selection. Lets see how far it takes India.
