Post success pos-revolution intra-revolutionary violence --- why is that USA (and UK) suffered near zero intra-revolutionary violence while almost all other countries such as France , USSR , China etc saw a lot of violent infighting amongst revolutionaries AFTER they succeeded ?
.
In 1650 , UK "mini-revolutionaries" deheaded the king and established supremacy of the Parliament. Some royalist later killed these "mini revlutionaries" but violent infighting amongst revolutionaries was minimal.
.
The US revolutionaries had bitter, extreme bitter , differences of opinion amongst each other after they expelled UK. The bitterness was so extreme that President Washington was expelled Thomas Jefferson who was at that time his Secretary of State , and Jefferson resigned. And relationship became so bitter that Jefferson refused to attend funeral of Washington. And differences between Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton were so bitter that each formed his own Party and contested against one another, and election speeches had tons of verbal abuses against each other. In a violent outbreak , called as Whiskey Rebellion , Jefferson openly blamed Alexander Hamilton and tactily supported the rebels , though he did oppose rebel's decision to use violence against the State.
.
But all in all, everything was confined to verbal abuses and election contesting, and NONE used violence against each other or their supporters. And forget executions or assassinations, none imprisoned other or his supporters.
.
Compare this with France , USSR or China or any place. After revolution , the winners , after few years , became bitter rivals and / or opponents , and used violence against one another that would put pre-revolutionary violence look less !! eg revolutionalries in France did more executions after revolution than King had done before revolutions, and more than half the executions were of those who were NOT royalist. In USSR , Lenin / Stalin killed more communists of thwir own party, then Czar. And in China, after revolution, decades of power struggle , differences opinions etc resulted into violence , executions, and prolonged imprisonments and tortures and humiliation.
.
So question is ---- what was so "UNIQUE" about US revolution, that revolutuonaries after success did became bitter opponents of each other, but did not (or could not) resort to violence against each other? While in almost all other countries, revolutionaries after success became bitter VIOLENT rivals of each other?
.
What created the difference?
