Abstaining in UN on vote against Israel is a good thing. We should move step ahead and vote in favor of Israel.

Russia is our best friend, and Israel has been second best friend in international arena.
.
And friends have limitations. eg Russia didnt help India in 1962 Indo-China war, didnt help India in Kargil war and Russia helped Jawaharlal Ghazi and not India in issue of Rastrapita Bose.

Israel too has limitations. Israel needs to ensure that Pakistan doesnt pass nuclear tech to Arabs and so Israel has to keep Pakistan in good humor.

We cant and should not expect friends in international areana to make sacrifices. After all, we cant make sacrifices for our friends either. But what is important is that Russis and Israel have NO agenda against India and we have common enemies, and have been willing to work with India as far as possible.

But all in all, abstaining in favor of Israel is a good step. And next time, we should vote in favor of Israel.
