Dear Recallists,

Pls go thru histories of West Bengal, Bangladesh, Burma (Myanmar), Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Malayasia, Indonesia,Phillipines, .
,
These are regions from West to east i.e. going from west to east, we see regions in following order 
.
West Bengal -----> Bangladesh -----> Burma -----> Thailand -----> Laos , Vietnam -----> Malayasia -----> Indonesia -----> Phillipines
.
Hinduism was major religion in all these regions till 100 AD 
.
Later West Bengal , Bangladesh remained Hindu but all other countries became Buddhist.
.
And after 700 AD , Malayasia , Indonesia , Phillipines started becoming Muslim and became almost 90% to 100% Muslim by 1300 AD . 
.
Bangldesh became 65% Muslim by 1900.
.
But countries in between Bangladesh and (Malayasia + Indonesia + Phillipines ) remained Buddhist till date.

Try to explain why
.
1. Islam did spread in Malayasia + Indonesia + Phillipines 
.
2. Why Islam did NOT spread in Burma , Thailand , Laos and Vietnam
.
3. Why Hinduism got replaced by Buddhism in all these countries !!
.
HINT : what administrative / courts methods do each religions follow?
