How "poor" and OPENLY POOR enforcement of law increase feeling that " oh !! I can always break the law and get away !!".

The rumor mill says that BJP MP Hema Malini's Mercedes carf was overspeeding. Apparently, Hema Malini RIGHTLY thought that she can flaunt the law , and get away.
.
Because , earlier they , she and her husband, OPENLY flaunted the law and got away !!!
.
HM and her husband had converted to Islam to get married. All that is non-issue to to me --- their personal choice.
.
But they OPENLY misreported religion as Hindu in affidavit and that too election affidavit !!!
.
What was more daring was that in 2004 election affidavit, Dharmendra didnt report Hema Malini as spouse !! And later, hema Malini did declare Dharmendra as spouse in her election affidavit !!!

IMO , the law MUST NOT require candidate to declare spouse's name / details on affivdaits . And IMO, the law should be changed.

But that is beside the point.

The point is that the both OPENLY FLAUNTED the law and OPENLY got away !!

Such open violation of law , and getting away in open , increases the feeling in all rich and powerful that , see, "I can do it !!". And this "can do" attitude makes them more and reckless !!

Anyway, lets see if we get a Jury Trial on whether the car Mercedes was overspeeding or not. Otherwise, left to corrupt, nepotic and nexused judges, I am sure that "car was below the legal speed" only !!
