Emergency social work vs non-emergency social work --- wny emergency social work is useful but non emergency social work is useless

Emergency social work is say --- social work done in case of large natural calamity like flood , earthquake, tsunami etc During such natural calamity, huge amount of labor is needed, And end beneficiaries dont have means to pay for it. And so market / administration may not be able to meet the requirement. And so volunteer work is needed,

But non-emergency social work is --- teaching poor kids almost DAILY . The task of giving better education can be better done by FORCING MPs / PM to print law-drafts such as Right to recall District Education Officer , Saatya System etc,
.
The senior activists in non emergency social work almost ALWAYS oppose the proposal, that activists should work to print law-drafts to improve administration, reduce corruption, reduce lithargy in staff etc etc. The senior activists generally insist that activists should join their organization, and directly do the work. And of course, they do want activists to get donations as well.

For ALL non emergency social work, a far far better way for activists is that activists should focus on FORCING MPs / MLAs to print law-drafts that would reduce inefficiencies and reduce corruption of the govt employees who are supposed to do that job. The inefficiencies / corruption can be best reduced by having Right to recall over the nodal officer (such as judge , public prosecutor , district education officer , district police chief etc)., and have Jury System over Staff below the district / state / national level nodal officer.

The PRINCIPAL reason ---- why senior activists ask junior activists NOT to work to improve law-drafts, but insist on spending time in direct social work, even non emergency work --- is to ensure that activists' time gets consumed away, and same law-drafts continue. And that why assorted political parties and elitemen pay them heavily to keep activists busy.

You can make a list of organization which discourage their activists from bringing legal / administrative changes in India, and insist that the activists should confine to direct social work ONLY. And please do ask new activists to attend meetings of these organization, That way, they can learn how to they are wasting away activists time, and protecting the status quo.. That way, chances that new activists' time will get wasted away will reduce
