The solution to problems in Gurudwara management is IMO --- print Right to Recall Gurudwara Prabandhak clauses in SGPC act
.
Before 1925, local Gurudwara Heads were elected using informal gathering. And since election were informal, there was built in recall ---- using gathering , the Sikhs can replace an errant Gurudwara head. The local Gurudwara heads would elect Akal Takht Chief using informal election procedure. And since election procedure was informal, the head can be replaced by a gathering.
.
SGPC act made election FORMAL process , and each Gurudwara head now had a term of a few fixed year. And there was NO formal procedure to recall him. And since head was formal elected, informal procedure to replace him cant come. And so Sikhs losing control over their elected heads in SGPC. One has to only see how corrupt Badals are, and yet they are dominating SGPC.
.
Solution I propose is that Sikhs should demand an amendment in SGPC which has formal procedure for recalling all elected heads..
.
Exact code?
.
For several weeks, I wont be able to find time to write code for RTR in SGPC.
.
I have proposed Right to Recall PM and RTR-CM and RTR-Mayor procedure drafts in chap-6 of Right to Recall Manifesto, English, aka 301.pdf athttps://www.facebook.com/groups/righttorecallparty/10152114637883103/. You dont have to read whole book. Just reading chap-6 will suffice. Based on procedures for RTR-PM , RTR-CM and RTR-Mayor, one can develop procedure code for RTR for local, state level and nation SGPC heads. The RTR in SGPC will enable Sikhs to have better control over SGPC heads and reduce their indiscipline.
