IOW, CoBhAp = Congress / BJP / AAP are one and the same. "vachaneshu kim daridrata" i.e. why be poor while making promises? Make promise, create expectation and then let ability to riot decide !!

In Gujarat , NaMo never promised reservation for Patels. But thru gestures, mannerism and whisper campaigns, NaMo had created an image and expectation that NaMo will remove reservation when he becomes PM !! And when NaMo didnt remove reservation, the expectations erupted.

Like every other political party, the BJP also promised Jats reservation in jobs and educational institutuins in the run up to October 2015 Assembly elections. Once the BJP won Assembly elections, the Jats of Haryana started pushing their case for inclusion in OBC list.

BJP played with fire by making reservation promises to Jats
The current BJP government of Haryana which is led by a non-Jat chief minister in Manohar Lal Khattar had promised OBC reservation for the Jats in its poll manifesto in 2014 but did not really pursue the case, leading to the angry protests. And since it did not really deliver on the promises, all its assurances now look more to control the damage than actually do the issue any meaningful service.
