How \ Why Facebook today is more powerful than ( NaMo + SoGa + ArGandhi + all leaders +CoBhAp-workers + RSS-workers + plus all Indian paidmediamen ) put together.

FB is today the most powerful entity in Indian politics. Not just more powerful than NaMo, it has more power than all Indian leaders put together. Of course, power of FB is shared by sponsors such CIA and assorted MNC-owners. But FB as an agency is now more powerful than other players in Indian politics such as ( NaMo + SoGa + ArGandhi + all leaders +CoBhAp-workers + RSS-workers + plus all Indian paidmediamen ) put together.

HOW and why? Because with a script of few thousand lines, FB can break a career of any political leader in India. And it can also give huge limelight to other leaders , who can steal away lakhs and crores of votes .How?

A simple way to understand FB is to first read the statement "10 crore Indians access FB's newsfeed" in a different way. The different way is --- FB has access to 10 crore Indian's newsfeeds !!!

eg consider paid-ToI. One statement is that "10 crore Indian read paid-ToI". And another way to put same fact is "paidToI can influence minds of 10 crore Indians " !!

Now, how can paid-ToI make or break leaders? Simple. If paid-ToI wants to break Leader-A, it will decrease news that favor Leader-A , increase news that make Leader-A look bad,and it will increase news that make rival Leader-B look good and decrease news that make rival Leader-B look bad. eg when paid-ToI decided to support NaMo, it started showing NaMo as anti-Muslim, which increased his vote share in Hindus !! And paid-ToI refused to PUBLICLY ask NaMo to clarify his stand on varna-vyavastha , which could have decreased his support in either RSS-core-workers OR SC / ST / OBC voters !!!

But FB doesnt give news. It only allows people to sharfe each others views and news.

So how can FB make or break careers of leaders? How can FB steal / transfer votes so easily?

Lets say FB , i.e. sponsors of FB , namely CIA / MNC_owners etc, decide to break ArGandhi and promote NaMo. Then it will start promoting pro-NaMo posts , start promoting anti-ArGandhi posts, start demoting anti-NaMo posts and start demoting pro-ArGandhi posts.

Say FB's sponsor decide to promote anti-reservation leaders. Then it nna promote their posts by truckload.

How does this promotion / demotion work ? It works via newsfeeds !!!

Consider a non-political person X i.e. persons who spend less than 4 hrs a week in getting political information from source other than FB / paidmedia. . A typical such non-political person has say 200 friends , of which some 10 will be political. i.e. these 10 friends a lot of time in campaigning in politics and are better informed.

Now say out of this 10 friends of Mr. X , say 5 are pro-NaMo / anti-ArGandhi and say remaining 5 are anti-NaMo / pro-ArGandhi.

Now if FB decides ti promote NaMo over ArGandhi, then FB will show more posts of pro-NaMo / anti-ArGandhi friends in newsfeed of X, and it will show lesser posts of anti-NaMo / pro-ArGandhi friends in newsfeed of X. IOW, newsfeed of X is generally politically neutral. But when FB's sponsor decide, FB's newsfeed preferences can become politically tilted.

So X will see more pro-NaMo posts, less anti-NaMo posts, more anti-ArGandhi posts and less pro-ArGandhi posts. And so X will tilt towards NaMo.

Non-SoMoKe-andhbhagat-activists and non-CoBhApSwaRa-worker-activists should work to publicize law-drafts needed to reduce inefficiencies of software companies in India. Yes, We dont have "Indian Facebook", we dont have "Indian Microsoft" because efficiency of software company owners in India is low. It is lower, because courts in India have become dysfunctional.

Yes. Most software engineers havent realized it, but to protect customer list, employee poaching, copyrights, patents and to have employees' peace of mind so that they can work optimally, courts play essential role. In USA , courts are far far less corrupt / less nepotic, and so protection of copyrights, employee list, client contacts, patents etc is better, And in USA< employees can focus more because they have lesser hassles in lives because of less corrupt / less nepotic courts.
