A recall effort of a Superior Court judge M. Marc Kelly is going on in Orange County, California. Judge Kelly, reduced the sentence for a man who was convicted of sexually assaulting a 3-year-old girl. Judge Kelly has sparked public outrage for making statement "There was no violence or callous disregard for (the victim’s) well-being." A petition and calls for the judge to step down is going on.
In California etc., citizens have the rights to replace their judges, representatives and public officials. Please note in India, we citizens do not have these republic rights.
