Why eventually SoMoKe, CoBhAp-leaders, judiciary etc will oppose "net neutrality" --- because they are too weak , and it benefits them. Solution --- reduce poverty , improve BSNL . How? Pls see last few para.

What is ending Net Neutrality? It means that when internet user accesses a website, the telco can collect internet usage charges from website owner and not from the end user. And if the use has free internet connection , then end user will be able to see ONLY those websites whose owners are paying to the telco.

The proposal superficially benefits the end users. But there is long term damage. The damage is --- the start up websites will not become accessible to a large number of internet users. And gradually, the telco owners will force website owners to give share in their companies and also dictate their contents.

In India, political effects will be serious. In India, internet access charges are so high that some 85% population cant afford internet. So they will opt for free internet connection such as freebasicdotcom aka internetdotorg etc. These sites will exclusively show only FB , amazon, may be flipkart etc, So political influence of FB will increase. FB is now able to influence political opinion of ONLY 15% of population. And this 15% have newspaper / TV-channels as alternatives. But bottom 85% doesnt read much newspapers --- they are too poor to buy newspapers !!! They have access only to TV-channels. So now FB will be able to influence their political opinions, and to a much larger extent as they dont have access to newspapers,

Now why will SoMoKe and CoBhAp-leaders agree with proposal to end net neutrality?

Mainly because they simply dont have strength to oppose FB / amazon etc.

The biggest economic beneficiary of freebasicsdotcom is amazon. The biggest political beneficiaries are sponsors of FB. FB will, economically speak, lose money in giving free access to internet to some 60 crore Indian citizens. But political strength will increase to an extent that FB (i.e sponsors of FB) will become more powerful than all political parties and all newspapers combined..

Now if NaMo and BJP-leaders oppose freebasicsdotcom and insist on net neutrality, then FB can make 10 anti-reservation-leaders as influentialial in Gujarat and across India , as ArGandhi is in Delhi. Every state will have some anti-reservation-leader demanding end of reservation and pulling lakhs of youth in his rallies. NaMo and BJP-leaders will lose all their upper caste voters and supporters. They will get routed in coming state assembly elections and in 2019 Loksabha elections.

And same is case of ArGandi , SoGa , AAP-leaders and Congress-leaders. Each of them have 10s of weak point and FB can sponsors leaders etc to who are anti-ArGandhi , anti-SoGa, anti-Congress, anti-AAP and do significant damage to AAP, Congress, ArGandhi, SoGa.

So SoMoKe, CoBhAp-leaders will all support law-drafts to end Net Neutrality and they will all promote freebasicsdotcom , internetdotorg etc etc.

Those who want Net Neutrality should work to reduce cost of 2G , 3G and wireline , and also reduce poverty. There are many who oppose law-drafts to reduce poverty, and also oppose law-drafts to bring down costs of 2G , 3G etc and keeping beating drums of Net Neutrality. Their goal is ONLY to waste activists' time.

What laws can activists publicize to fedcue poverty? DDMRCAM, wealth tax, RTR and JurySys. DDMRCAM (seehttps://www.facebook.com/mehtarahulc/posts/10152258841751922 ) will ensure that mineral royalties, spectrum royalties and land rent directly get deposited into the accounts of all citizens of India. So so many Indians will be able to buy wireless or wirelined internet . Next set of law-drafts are RTR-law-drafts , JuySys law-drafts and wealth tax law-drafts. These law-drafts will reduce costs and inefficiencies of the factory owners and so reduce unemployment and further increase ourchasing powers of bottom 85%.
