Pakistan's Punjab state govt ban slaughters of FEMALE cows (aug-2015 ) !!!

The ban is on slaughter of female cow as well as female buffalo. But ban on cow slaughter is rigidly enforced .

Bullock slaughter is legal.

Now , I am NOT taking Pakistan as any reference. They can do whatever they want. But my point is --- there are REAL NON RELIGIOUS reasons why cow slaughter should be banned. Of many reasons, the most important has been --- cow dunk has been proven to best fertilizer to rejuvenate infertile soil where nothing has grown for decades. And cow dunk reduces water requirements to grow jowar , wheat etc etc.
