Mr. 56" inch aka NaMo meekly obeys Supreme judges , and okays appointment of 24 judges as ordered by Supreme judges' Cartel aka Collegium !!!

This is worse than even I expected !! I knew that all this 56" inch chest is a nonsense. I didnt expect such meek surrender from NaMo !!!

Supreme judges said "get lost" to PM and 800 MPs by cancelling NJAC on 16-oct-2015 , Friday.. Then SCCj Dattu formed Collegium aka Cartel of three judges on same day !! The Collegium approved 24 Additional (aka Temperory ) High Court judges as Permanent High Court judges within 1 day !! And on 18-oct-2015, Supreme judges sent a list of 24 High Court Associate judges , and ordered NaMo to appoint them as PERMANENT High Court judges !!

And guess what Mr. 56" inch do ? Within 24 hours , NaMo signed the files and sent them to President for final signatures !! And guess more ---- since President was in Kolkata for Durga Puja, NaMo ordered IAS to send all files by flight to Kolkata !!!

NaMo has OFFICIAL power to delay the appointments for as many days, months and years as he wants. I repeat --- Constitution imposes NO time frame on how many days PM must take to send the file to President !!! So NaMo could have stopped ALL appointments in judiciary and FORCED judges to OK NJAC. But NaMo didnt even give a fight. He meekly obeyed the orders of SCCj Dattu and sent the files to President for final signature !!!

The NJAC vs Cartel System (aka Collegium System) debate has NOT ended. (aside ---- I consider BOTH proposals as piece-o-junk, and the "Right to Recall Supreme Chief Judge" law-draft I have proposed (see "Right to Recall Supreme Court judges aka Prajaa-aadheen SCjs athttps://facebook.com/notes/10150422908786922 ") is far superior than NJAC and Cartel System aka Collegium System. ). So if SCCj had demanded extension in tenure of Temporary aka Associate HCjs, then approving the extension was fine. But SCCj didnt ask for extension. SCCj ordered NaMo to appoint all these 24 temporary HCjs as PERMANENT HCjs. And NaMo could NOT dare to impose even 1 week delay --- NaMo immediately signed the files and ordered IAS to send files to Kolkata for signature of President !!!

Such surrender before corrupt , nepotic and nexused judges is shame for whole nation. We have a PM (i.e. General) who is absolutely unwilling to fight , no matter how many votes gets and how much supports he has from his andhbhagats. Surely, he can order IPS to beat up some 2 bit activists speaking against him, But this man, NAMo has no courage to stand up against tyranny of bunch of unelected judges with ZERO public support.

(aside but important --- SoGa / ArGandhi are no different. In fact, ArGandhi has went ahead and supported collegium system !!!)

Those who want to reduce corruption , nepotism and corruption in courts should now see that SoMoKe are UTTERLY useless. I request all of them to also note that ALL SoMoKe-andhbhagats including RSS \ BST workers are also useless. IMO, if you wish to fix courts in India, then pls publicize law-drafts such as Jury System, Right to Recall judges, TCP, MRCM, wealth tax etc etc. And pls dont waste time after SoMoke and their andhbhagats

Government plays ball as collegium clears 24 judges

NEW DELHI: After the National Judicial Appointments Commission (NJAC) was struck down, the revived collegium headed by Chief Justice H L Dattu cleared the names of 24 additional judges in six high courts for appointment as permanent judges and the Centre played ball by flying the files to Kolkata to get the President's assent.

Scotching apprehension that the Union government may play tough after its decision to bring transparency in appointment of judges through the NJAC was rejected, the law minister promised the CJI that the government would send the files to the President to get his signature.

"It was my moral duty to see that these 24 additional judges did not suffer uncertainty because the Supreme Court is on Dussehra break," the CJI told TOI from Bengaluru.

These 24 additional judges had clearance from the high court collegium concerned for appointment as permanent judges. But their appointment could not be made permanent because the SC collegium was in a limbo owing to a five-judge constitution bench rejecting the constitutional validity of NJAC. The SC bench had extended their additional judgeship by three months which was ending by the end of this month.
