Massive negative vote or positive vote ---- Some 90000 voters of Raigarh Municipality, Chhatisgadh elect a transgender i.e. "kinnar" as mayor !!! See link in first comment .

I have been citing since 2002 , that most vote BJP is getting are NEGATIVE votes and NOT positive votes. Even in may-2014 , BJP got more negative votes than positive votes.

Such protest votes IMO dont do much good.

Many activists salivate at "anti-BJP anti-Congress" waves and fancy that their party such as AAP can easily come into power. But thats isnt so. The people who have utter dislike for COngress / BJP also have utter dislike for AAP and all other parties / independents for valid or invalid reasons. And one valid reason is --- Congress / BJP men sold out after getting elected, so what is proof that you guys will not sell out. The third party activists try to use arguments like "give us one chance" , "we are differennt", "we are less bad compared to BJP / Congress" and then use buzzwords like governance / transparency. Well, none of these work.

Solution I propose is that activists should NOT support a pseudo-option. They should campaign for good law-drafts like Right to recall, Jury System, wealth tax minus credits , oppose GST , oppose VAT, oppose excise etc etc, and thus try for REAL alternatives.
