RSS / BJP apex leader Ram Madhav says --- There is no proposal to ban cow slaughter in the eight northeastern states !!! (as reported by paid-India-samvaad)

In all my posts on cow slaughter ban , I had mentioned that my proposal is statewide banning, one state at a time, and NOT a nationwide ban, And I had mentioned that North East state may not go for ban, but cow slaughter in NE states will end once all states which want cow slaughter implement ban on movement of cows from one state to another. Why? Because NE states dont have much cow slaughter, they dont have many cows of their own and most cows which are slaughtered in NE states come from other states. Most RRG members supported statewide bans rather than nationwide ban. Some support nationwide ban, which I dont.

NaMo-supporters were very quick to ridicule my stand and cite that "see NaMo / BJP are committed to nationwide ban in one shot !!!" IOW, NaMo-supporters ridiculed RRG stand and claimed NaMo's mirage like promise of nationwide ban on cow slaughter as god gift.

Well, 11 months have passed, and center has made NO law for nationwide ban on cow slaughter. And now BJP / RSS apex leader Ram Madhav says "There is no proposal to ban cow slaughter in the eight northeastern states". And he adds "BJP in other states will review the situation and take relevant decisions". IOW, national BJP promises NOTHING !!! Except, some non binding modal act !!

So all in all, "nationwide cow slaughter ban" was just another chunavi jhumla , like Rs 15 lakh promise . and nothing more. No wonder why many say that BJP means "Bhartiya Jhumla Party" !!!
