Merit no = position in their OWN merit list., so not relavant here

IOW, OBC is just 3% below General
.
SC is also some 4% below general
.
ST is 14% below general.

But all this talk, that SC becomes doctor at 50% and General with 90% doesnt get admission is hyperbole and exaggeration, and such a gross exaggeration that it should be taken as a WHITE LIE.

"SC becomes doctor at 50% and General with 90% doesnt get admission" was perhaps true in late 1970s. It is NOT so anymore.

And btw, the closing % scoresin NRI quota and management quota are often as low as 70% or even 60% !!!
