Gujarat Govt is REPEATEDLY showing a WHITE LIE via TV-advt that "Caste Based Reservation cannot exceed 50% as per some Supreme Court judges' order" !!! And very few persons are countering the lies. Even those who want reservation for Patels are NOT countering this lie.

If such is the SCjs = Supreme Court judges' orders, then how come Tamil Nadu is having 69% reservation since 1980s?
.
What SCjs have ordered is --- if a State Govt wants reservation over 50% , then legislation of State Govt must get approval of over 67% MPs in both house i.e. Loksabha as well as Rajyasabha !!
.
So 15% reservation fo Patels is possible. The State Govt has to pass the law in Gujarat Assembly and then send it to Parliament.

Now if both LS / RS dont approve, then its another matter.

The 5% reservation for Jats and Maraths in Rajasthan and Maharashtra got cancelled ONLY because the State Govts simply didnt ask Parliament to approve , and so Parliament never approved.

The 69% reservation in TN is there because TN govt sent it for approval of MPs , and both houses approved it in 1994 with over 67% majority in both Loksabha as well as Rajyasabha,.
.
And so Supreme judges have so far allowed 69% reservation in TN.

So Gujarat Govt puts loads of lies on TV and newspapers in broad daylight.

And no one demanding reservation for Patels counters this lie !!!
