Nagpur: Centre’s policy on reservation is nothing but vote bank politics and to divide the Hindu society, RSS chief K S Sudarshan said in Nagpur on Wednesday.

Addressing the participants at the end of RSS volunteers third year training camp at Reshimbagh ground, in Nagpur Sudarshan lashed out at UPA Government’s policy on reservation and said "it is nothing but vote bank politics and to retain power and similar attempt were made in 1981 and 1994."
.
"It will affect the efficiency of the talented people in the country," he said and questioned the wisdom of reservation policy.
Sudarshan said the creamy layer among the section of society which has availed the benefits of reservation should desist from further taking the benefits of quota system.

"Will Ramvilas Paswan and those holding high posts in the government offices politely decline the benefits after availing all the benefits and reaching the creamy layer section," he asked.
"The entire nation will be ruined by the uncalled for flames and fire of reservation," he said.

Citing example without specific references, Sudarshan said a section of Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribes have opposed the proposed reservation.

He said quoting them "our talents are undermined and are accused of taking the benefits of quota."

"The country will have to pay the price in long run," he said adding the dignity and self respect of the Hindus was at stake.

IOW , RSS-apex fooled upper caste activists for decades to think that if RSS i.e. BJP comes into power, then it will remove reservation !!! This is how RSS-apex obtained 1000s of free hours of work from upper caste activists. But when it came close to PM-ship, and saw that Dalit votes are needed , RSS-apex changed stand.
